Privacy and security
You should not need a technical deep-dive to understand what an email tool keeps. Here is the current private-beta model in plain language.

Your message is deleted once it is delivered.
We keep who it went to, the subject, and what each person did.
Wiztrack does not claim client-side-only or zero-knowledge storage. When you send a tracked message, its content is encrypted while it is needed for delivery, then deleted once delivery completes. The activity record stays so your history works.
Privacy
What remains in your history
Recipient addresses, message subjects, delivery status, and observed activity such as opens, clicks, and replies are retained for the product’s history and diagnostics. We do not keep the full message body after the transient delivery window.
What you control
Tracking is a choice in each compose window. You can use Wiztrack for the messages where timing matters and leave it off elsewhere. You can also disconnect a connected Gmail account from Settings, which stops future Gmail access after the stored token is revoked.
Gmail data
Wiztrack requests Gmail access only after you choose Connect Gmail. The requested access supports sending tracked messages, reading the delivery state needed for the dashboard, and permanently removing only reconciled private Sent child copies. OAuth tokens are encrypted server-side and are never placed in the browser. Wiztrack does not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising.
Google API data and service providers
Wiztrack's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Wiztrack also adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. Wiztrack uses Gmail information only to connect the account, send messages that you choose to track, and show their delivery and observed activity. Tracking is off until you turn it on for a message.
Google provides OAuth and Gmail APIs and delivers tracked messages to the recipients you select. Cloudflare hosts Wiztrack's application and API, processes account and activity records, stores encrypted message payloads temporarily while they are queued for delivery, and processes transactional waitlist and invitation email. Message content is deleted after delivery completes; account, recipient, subject, delivery, and activity records are retained as described above.
The extension uses InboxSDK to integrate with Gmail's compose and thread interface. The bundled SDK sends technical Gmail integration events to Google Cloud Pub/Sub and diagnostic reports to InboxSDK. These may include a one-way hash derived from the Gmail account email, the Gmail origin, extension and SDK identifiers and versions, event details, and error diagnostics. Diagnostic markup is censored by the SDK. Wiztrack does not intentionally include message bodies in this telemetry or use it for advertising or browsing profiles.
Waitlist information
If you join the waitlist, we store your Google account email, the use case and frequency you selected, attribution such as source or UTM values, consent time, and a rotating one-way IP hash for abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are not stored. Waitlist data is used to select early testers and share major early-access updates.
Deletion and questions
To request account, Gmail-token, waitlist, or associated data deletion, contact support@wiztrack.net. You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account security settings; contact us if you also want the Wiztrack records removed.
Security
We prefer clear product boundaries over broad promises. Tracking events are stored as activity evidence, and operational records are protected with authenticated APIs, request checks, and no-store responses for private data.
Google OAuth
Wiztrack uses Google OAuth for Gmail access. Connected account tokens are protected server-side and are never placed in the browser.
Access stays explicit
Early access is invitation-based. Joining the waitlist never creates an account or changes product access.
What we do not promise
Wiztrack does not claim client-side-only processing, zero-knowledge storage, or that every email event is perfectly attributable. The product reports what it can observe and keeps the explanation honest.
Responsible rollout
Public access expands in stages. We will publish material changes to data handling and access before paid plans begin.
